Powertrain models can be substituted by the physical components on a test bench to conduct Mechanical HiL

Propulsion system and transmission / driveline models

  • Internal combustion engine is modelled using look-up tables:
  • Transmission components are modelled: Clutch, Gearbox, torque converter
  • Gear shift algorithms are modelled for auto transmission
  • E-drives can be combined to model hybrid powertrains or FEV
  • Dynacar includes libraries containing basic powertrain and transmission models for:
    • Conventional powertrains
      • Internal combustion engine
      • Up to 6-speed transmissions (manual, automatic or robotic)
      • Torque converter and clutch models
    • Electric powertrains
      • Electric motors
      • Energy storage system (battery)
    • Hybrid powertrains
      • Combined electric and internal combustion engines
      • Torque and energy management strategies
    • ANY FOUR WHEELED VEHICLE CAN BE MODELED!!! .
